How do I start playing?
Create an account on the registration page, download the client from Downloads, open the RAN DESSERT launcher and sign in.
Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
Click More info and then Run anyway. This appears because the installer is not code-signed yet. It is safe to install.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes, on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer) with macOS 12 or later. The Mac app needs CrossOver installed (codeweavers.com: free 14-day trial, then paid).
The game says my account is already connected
Wait a few minutes and try again. This happens when the game was closed unexpectedly. If it keeps happening, contact a game master.
I forgot my password
If you are still signed in on this website, change it on My account. Otherwise contact a game master with your account name and the email you registered with.
Do I need to download updates?
No. The launcher checks for updates every time you open it and installs them automatically.
Server rules
- No cheats, bots, speed hacks or modified game files.
- No exploiting bugs. Report them to the team instead.
- No real-money trading of accounts, characters or items.
- Respect other players. No harassment, hate speech or scams.
- Do not impersonate game masters or staff.
- One person is responsible for each account. Never share your password.
Breaking the rules can lead to a warning, a temporary block or a permanent ban.
